Meet The Secretariat
|
Jessica Merrell
Secretary-General |
| Jessica Merrell is currently a sophomore double-majoring in International Relations and History at Boston University. Her love for international politics was inevitable, as she has lived most of her life either on a different continent or right outside the nation's capital in lovely Silver Spring, Maryland. Upon arriving at BU, Jessica discovered Model UN, and it's been love ever since. When taking a quick break from making this BarMUN the best BarMUN ever, Jessica enjoys burying herself in a new book, exploring museums, and, whenever she can get a chance, scuba diving. | |
|
Sam Leone
Chargé d’ Affaires |
| Sam Leone is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences, double-majoring in International Relations and Economics with a minor in Arabic. He is an active member of BU’s international Affairs Association, works with BU's Catholic Center and is a Big Brother for a Boston 5th grader. He also enjoys playing tennis, ultimate Frisbee and the saxophone whenever he gets the chance. Sam is known around campus for his piercing intellect and biting wit. | |
|
Tim Singer
Chief Crisis Coordinator |
| Tim Singer is a Junior majoring in international relations and history at Boston University. He has participated in BarMUN for the last two years, first as a crisis staffer, and then as the crisis director for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He is also the Treasurer of the BU International Affairs Association. An evil genius bent on world domination, Tim enjoys the Red Sox, dinosaurs and diabolical schemes. | |
|
Travis Cunningham
Chief Crisis Coordinator |
| Travis Cunningham was born and raised in the great Pacific Northwest, eventually graduating high school in the little town of Bend, Oregon. He is a freshman majoring in International Relations. This is his first Secretariat experience, and he is enjoying getting to know the Model UN world. Other than his MUN life, Travis enjoys sports, music, and just spending time with friends. An avid football fan, his religious love for the Indianapolis Colts is unparalleled by any other person he has met in this world, ever. | |
|
Nicole Stephens
Chief Operations Officer |
| Nicole Stephens is a member of the CAS class of 2012 and is double majoring in Political Science and Environmental Analysis/Policy. Growing up as a military brat, Nicole has called many places home, and has the jumbled accent to prove it. Her loves include BUIAA, yoga, cats, and CNN. Instead of writing papers, she can be found watching House, The Tudors, or Battlestar Galactica. | |
|
Christina Falcos
Chief Financial Officer |
| Christina Falcos is a senior majoring in International Relations, with minors in French, Linguistics, and Earth Sciences. She is from Massachusetts but loves to travel. She has been to many countries in Latin America and Europe, even spending a semester in Geneva. Christina has been involved in BarMUN since its beginning and is excited to be part of the Secretariat for BarMUN III. | |
|
Vieshnavi Rattehalli
Chief Information Officer |
| Currently a junior working towards degrees in International Relations and Public Relations, Vieshnavi is beyond psyched to be part of the BarMUN III Secretariat. Obsessed with international politics and speaking too many languages, Vieshnavi has traveled though South Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean, and is spending the semester in the beautiful city of Geneva, Switzerland. Having grown up in sunny Florida, Vieshnavi distracts herself from the frigid temperatures of New England and MUN by reading foreign literature, playing piano, and cooking. |
