ABOUT THE FLOWER WARS: TLAXCALA-HUEJOTZINGO-CHOLULA COALITION CABINET
The Flower War, or Xōchiyāōyōtl in Nahuatl, was a series of ritualistic conflicts between the Aztec Triple Alliance and its enemies, city-states Tlaxcala, Huejotzingo, and Cholula. As leaders of the coalition resisting Aztec domination, delegates will represent the last major Náhuatl-speaking powers opposing the Aztec Empire. Delegates are entrusted with maintaining independence against Aztec aggression, addressing economic isolation due to trade blockades, balancing participation in the Flower Wars, managing internal politics of the coalition, and exploring potential alliances to counter Aztec influence. In this delicate balance between survival and tradition, can delegates unite their city-states to end the cycle of ritualistic conflict? Or will the growing resentment towards the Aztecs lead them to form new, unexpected alliances that could reshape the future of Mesoamerica?
