chair

Chairs head the dais of each committee and moderate debate, keep time, rule on points and motions, and enforce parliamentary procedure. Past MUN experience is recommended.

crisis director

Crisis Directors lead crisis room staff and manage committee arcs. They are in charge of the flow of committee events and the crisis updates that make the conference fun. MUN and crisis experience are recommended.

vice chair

Vice Chairs are members of the dais staff, helping Chairs run debate and assisting in procedural matters. Vice Chairs may chair the committee at the discretion of the Chair. MUN experience is not required.

assistant crisis director

Assistant Crisis Directors help the Crisis Director in running the crisis room. They also work with crisis staffers on individual crisis arcs and answering crisis notes.

logistics staffer

Logistics staffers help handle logistical matters during conference weekend and usually do many different jobs, including running props, requisition forms, managing merchandise sales, and print-outs between rooms.

committee staffer

In crisis committees, committee staffers work under the Crisis and Assistant Crisis Directors of a committee, answering delegate notes and assisting in crisis updates. For General Assemblies and Specialized committees, staffers will assist dais members as needed. No MUN experience is required.

pr crew

The PR Crew works with the Director of Public Relations to document BarMUN XVI, whether it be through social media, content production, or multimedia means. Photography and editing experience, particularly with Adobe Creative Cloud products, is preferred.
